Having survived the\u00a0<a title=\"Warsaw Ghetto\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Warsaw_Ghetto\">Warsaw Ghetto<\/a>\u00a0and loosing all his family in German concentration camps, it was all but reasonable to stay in post war Germany and believe in the culture of the &#8220;nation of poets and philosophers&#8221;. He did, and he did not stop to tell us how to move forward (not only in literature).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theusRus.de\/Blog-files\/MRR.png\" width=\"515\" height=\"388\" \/><\/p>\n<p>His resistless way of criticizing\u00a0should be an inspiration for all of us and encourage us to name something as &#8220;bad&#8221; (or even worse) when it actually is. Maybe Robert&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/eagereyes.org\/criticism\">section on criticism<\/a> of visualizations is a contribution into the right direction and hopefully some of my &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theusrus.de\/blog\/category\/the-good-the-bad\/\">Good and Bad<\/a>&#8221; encourage us to move forward by learning from what was not good.<\/p>\n<h3>&#8230; BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE CRAZY ENOUGH TO THINK THEY<\/h3>\n<h3>CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, ARE THE ONES WHO DO<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, Marcel Reich-Ranicki aged 93, died in Frankfurt, Germany.
